- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★Anyone who says this place needs to close is a moron & knows nothing. Do people think that immigrants from other countries can just enter the United States at their own free will? There's a process & that's what this place is. It's a processing center for illegals (mostly Central Americans) who are seeking asylum claiming that there's levels of unprecedented gang violence & seeking protection from domestic violence. The reality is that though it seems that Central American countries have failed their people, little do they know that there's high amounts of gang violence & domestic violence here in the United States as well. All of these residents who enter detention centers will one day have to show up in front of a judge who will have the last call if they're allowed to stay & have a legitimate case that prevents them from going back home.By Jay G., October 12, 2016
